The tower is directly placed above the metro. The building itself is composed of a concrete core, designated to withstand the wind and floor loads, and a steel structure made as light as possible. The external appearance of the glass tower (light bay windows), aluminum and bronze, reflects the sky, while its curved shape is like an almond with indented ends and softens the general volume. Its height is 209 meters with 58 floors, plus a terrace on the 59th floor, the highest terrace in Paris from where the view covers a radius of 40 km. Out of the 59 floors, 52 are occupied by offices with a working population of 5000. Opening hours is 9.30 to 11.30 p.m. and to 10.30 p.m. only in the winter. |
